Mental toughness skill training is just like any other training — it takes time and practice. If we neglect it, bad mental habits can become very hard to fix.

It takes discipline to be mentally tough. And everyone needs mental toughness any time they experience stress. The core of mental toughness is the ability to control emotional responses and concentrate on what has to be done in pressure situations.

How can you get started being mentally tough? 

1. In order to know where you are going, you have to know where you are. Take a Mental Toughness Assessment. This will test your mental toughness skills and offer tips on how you can strive for the next level.

2. Social media is filled with lots of distractions to keep us from peak performance, but on “Mental Toughness Mondays.”  We will be sharing posts, tweets, and pictures to help inspire you and start a conversation on how you can be more mentally tough.

Remember: At higher levels of any game, test or challenge, mental toughness determines the outcomes.
