Intentionality—A 24-Hour Time Frame

As individuals we strive for intentionality and purposeful diligence—toward personal goals and a life of significance.  We do this because there is a direct correlation between being intentional and reaching our potential.

We attempt to plan our time, activities and actions with purpose—to be in alignment with our values and principles. Most find that this intentionality shows up in our personal achievements and the ultimate significance of our life.

With intentionality we spend our days, weeks, months driven by the spirit of our personal mission statement which we have embedded with our values…propelled by our strengths…all within a balance of life’s demands.

With intentionality comes the conservation of time. The need, desire and dedication to move through the day with purpose. To use each

day as a miracle to be sculpted.

FROM GEORGE SHEEHAN;

Writing about time in How to Live 24  Hours a Day:

“In 1910 Arnold Bennett wrote a book on “the daily miracle,” our supply of time. We wake in the morning, and our day is magically filled with 24 hours.

No one can take it from you and no one receives more or less than you receive. Genius is not  rewarded with even an extra hour.

Time cannot be bought. And no matter how you waste it, the next day’s supply will not be withheld from you. It is impossible to go into debt for time. Tomorrow is always there.

Out of the 24-hour day we have to spin a complex web of health, pleasure, contentment, respect and evolution of our immortal souls. So our happiness depends on how we use our time.

Yet how many of us put things off, living for the future, when we will have more time. How many of us live on the allotted 24 hours a day? How many of us are waiting for a new day with more time?

“We shall never have more time,” Bennett writes, “We have and we always had all the time there is.”

Let’s spend our day, our 24 hours well…with intentionality.
